Bull (male) Imperial Black

DOB: 5/30/200815 yrs
Superlock is an Imperial Tibean Yak bull who has sired most of our calves for the past three years. He has a commanding presence, a gorgeous head with a super wooly top knot and that beautiful square shape that we try to breed for. His horns are thick and what we like to see in a breeding bull and his hump and overall conformation is excellent. His fiber is thick and wooly and he has excellent coverage. Saltora wins the prize for most friendly yak on the farm. She sees me and she starts grunting! She loves her treats and her grain snacks. A scratch between the ears is also welcome. Saltora's fiber is very fine. We are working on combing it out to see what we can do with it.
The first time she ever won a prize was at the National Yak Show in Denver, Colorado. She received 1st for her fiber. The judges knew that her fiber was number 1!
